On October 29, a trade mission by the MACC (Mercosur Asean Chamber of Commerce) took place in Singapore, with the support of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and the Embassies of Argentina and Brazil.

The activities consisted of a seminar on "Business Opportunities in Singapore", in the morning, and business rounds between Mercosur entrepreneurs and their local counterparts, in the afternoon.

In the aforementioned seminar, both the Ambassador of Argentina, Federico Barttfeld, and the Ambassador of Brazil, Flavio D'amico, acted as keynote speakers.

Ambassador Barttfeld encouraged South American businessmen to learn more about the advantages that this country offers for the regional distribution of their products. He also mentioned the particularities of the local market for each of the products marketed by the companies present at the event (items such as beef, grains, fruits, olive oil, among others).
