Trade & Commercial Section
The Commercial Section of the Embassy of Argentina in Singapore carries out trade and investment promotion activities aimed at strengthening bilateral economic ties, increasing and diversifying Argentine exports, and positioning Argentina as a destination for productive foreign investment.
Main activities include:
- Identifying and analysing trade intelligence information in order to assess business opportunities in the Singaporean market and the broader region;
- Providing Argentine companies with information on the local business environment, market conditions, relevant trade fairs, importers and distributors;
- Promoting the exportable offer of Argentine goods and services in Singapore and channelling local demand;
- Organising and participating in economic and commercial promotion events in Singapore and the region;
- Assisting the private sector in trade and business missions;
- Promoting investment opportunities in Argentina and facilitating contact between Singaporean companies and Argentine counterparts.
Our mission:
- To promote Argentine exports of goods and services of high added value;
- To help Singaporean companies find partners and opportunities in Argentina;
- To encourage foreign direct investment by sharing information about opportunities across the various sectors of the Argentine economy;
- To assist Argentine businesses and delegations seeking to introduce their products and services in the Singaporean market, through market intelligence and the identification of potential opportunities and niches;
- To provide Singaporean companies with relevant information regarding business opportunities in Argentina.
