On December 9, the screening of the Argentinean film "Medianeras" took place at the National Gallery of Singapore, as part of the 2017 edition of the "Keppel Latin American Film Festival". The event was co-organized with the embassies of Brazil; Chile; Colombia; Costa Rica; Cuba; Mexico; Panama; Peru and Venezuela.

During the screening, the theatre was full and more than 200 attendees were able to enjoy an Argentine comedy that talks about the psychological and social characteristics acquired by those who live in a big city like Buenos Aires.

The official opening of the Festival had taken place in the National Gallery itself on Wednesday, December 6, prior to the screening of a film presented by the Embassy of Peru, the country in charge of coordinating the Festival in this edition.
