ALKEMIO — Modular rare earth refineries

Alkemio is an Argentine startup with a presence in Berkeley and Buenos Aires, dedicated to the development of next-generation modular refineries for the sustainable processing of rare earth oxides (REOs), critical minerals for electric vehicles, wind energy, semiconductors, and defense systems. Its proprietary molecular recognition technology enables recovery rates above 87% and purity above 99%, with infrastructure significantly more compact and efficient than solvent extraction (the current industry standard).
