The Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Singapore and Our Tampines Hub proudly present the 2021 Argentine Film Festival in Singapore, sponsored by Bagó Laboratories. After two successful previous editions, this year’s Festival is a much anticipated cultural event for members of the local community with a passion for learning more about Argentina through the Art of cinema.

The Festival will open with the Singapore premiere of the film The Weasels’ Tale (NC16) directed by  Academy Award winning director, Juan José Campanella. On its opening day, the screening will be preceded by a special Tango showcase by the Los Sueños Tango dance academy.

This edition will also be featuring the comedy-drama films The Lunchroom (PG) and The Retirement (NC16), as well as the comedy Vinyl Days (PG). The Festival will culminate with one of the most anticipated premieres of this edition, the film Heroic Losers (NC16) starring the emblematic Ricardo Darín, one of the most awarded actors in contemporary Argentine cinema.
