The Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Singapore informs that due to the Novel Coronavirus, the authorities of Singapore have decided that all Foreign Nationals who have travelled to mainland China in the last 14 days, will be denied entry by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore at Changi Airport and all of Singapore´s Air Bases.
Travellers who fall under that category needs to be ferried back immediately.

In light of the confirmed Coronavirus cases in Singapore, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has updated its epidemiological alert:
- Recommends that Singaporeans defer any non-essential trip to the territory of China.
- Temperature controls are being carried out in airports and land and sea terminals. Note that if you do not feel well or have a fever, you will be referred to an on-site medical team that will assess your health status.
- The Ministry of Health also reminds the public to continue exercising caution and attention to personal hygiene at all times, especially by washing their hands frequently.
- Travelers and the general public should take the following precautions at all times:
- Avoid contact with live animals, including poultry and live poultry, and the consumption of raw and undercooked meats;
- Avoid places with many people and close contact with people who are not well or who show symptoms of the disease;
- Observe good personal hygiene;
- Wash your hands frequently with soap (for example, before handling food or eating, after using the bathroom or when your hands are dirty from respiratory secretions after coughing or sneezing);
- Wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms such as cough or runny nose;
- Cover your mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and discard the dirty tissue in the trash container immediately;
- Seek medical attention immediately if you do not feel well.
- All travelers should closely monitor their health for two weeks upon returning to Singapore by checking their temperature on a daily basis and paying attention to symptoms such as breathing difficulties, cough, pneumonia, general decay. In the presence of any of these symptoms, you should immediately consult your doctor. It is recommended to put on the mask and make a phone call before attending your health center. You should also inform your doctor about your travel history.
- Given the evolution of the situation and the ongoing investigations in China, it is recommended that Singapore residents need to travel to the affected areas to periodically check the Ministry of Health website (www.moh.gov.sg) to obtain updates.
- Travelers to China are also recommended to stay tuned, monitor developments and pay attention to the advice of the Chinese local authorities while they are in that country.
Argentine and Argentine tourists and residents in the jurisdiction are recommended to check the Ministry of Health's website (www.moh.gov.sg) periodically for the purpose of updating themselves on the latest prevention measures.
